Camp Trinity Needs Nurses

Camp Trinity is a residential summer camp sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of East Carolina at Trinity Center.  Camp Trinity is proud to be accredited by the American Camping Association and offers young people rising 3-12 grades an opportunity to experience camping in an enjoyable and beautiful settling along the Bogue Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.

Camp Trinity needs nurses!  Camp Trinity nurses must be a RN or higher.  Nurses are contracted out for a session of camp and must stay on property during the duration of the camp session.  We have a walkie-talkie system here so you are able to float around property (pool, beach, dock, etc) as much as you wish and aren't confined to the Health Center unless needed.  Nurses are paid for each week that they are contracted and get a small raise each summer that they return back to Camp Trinity.

It's a wonderful way to spend a week at the beach! Please contact Mary Beth Bradberry, Camp Trinity Director (marybeth@trinityctr.com or 252-247-5600 ext. 23), for available dates if you are interested!

On Saturday March 29th, Episcopal Campus Ministry at UNC-Wilmington (ECM) held a fundraiser dinner at the Dixie Grill in downtown Wilmington. The funds were raised to help offset the costs of the ECM's spring retreat to Atlanta the following weekend. Adam Pierce, Campus Minister, also works part time at the restaurant and the owners approached him about the opportunity.

The ECM students sold raffle tickets, helped set up, and washed dishes during the event. Mr. Pierce worked in the kitchen preparing the food. During the dinner there was plenty of time for socializing and mingling between parishioners from several Episcopal congregations and members of the Wilmington community. The kitchen received many great comments on the food that was served. ...»
