The purpose of the Church Periodical Club (CPC) is to spread the written Word throughout the world by supplying free Bibles, prayer books, literature and periodicals to deserving recipients throughout the Anglican Communion.
The suggested date for the CPC Ingathering is May 4, 2014.

What is CPC and why do we have an Ingathering? CPC was begun in 1888 by a group of Episcopal women in New York City.  These women sent Bibles on Wells Fargo stage coaches throughout the West. CPC has flourished though the years! Close to home, East Carolina seminarians are recipients of the spiritual and liturgical resources.  These resources consist of Christian periodicals, computers, audio, videos and DVD's and software.  This year three seminarians each received a check for $600 at the diocesan convention.

All of this is supported solely through the annual ingathering. The time is right now to start building enthusiasm in your parish for CPC Sunday.

All monies collected should be mailed to the ECW Treasurer:
             Mrs. Claudia Sulloway

             577 Robin Road
             Morehead City, NC 28557

If you have questions about this program, contact Jane Squires, CPC Director for Diocese of East Carolina at jsquires4@nc.rr.com  or 910-433-2885.
