Cursillo is a 'lay led' movement within the Christian community, that began in Spain in the 1930's. It leads the participants (called pilgrims) into a further deepening of their personal understanding of God and their relationship to Him. In this Diocese, Pilgrims gather at Trinity Center for a three day retreat where they share fellowship and listen to the pilgrims that have completed the Cursillo weekend, returning as Cursillistas, share their experience. Once the 3-day weekend is completed, the Cursillistas all go back to the 'real' world with a better idea of their missions and ministries towards others, into what is called "Fourth Day". Ultreya is a gathering/group meeting that is held after the Cursillo weekends to catch up with other members throughout the Diocese.
