Medical Mission 

Yesterday, the Diocese of East Carolina Medical Mission left for Jimani, a remote area in Dominican Republic. They brought with them medical equipment and medicine to help the people of the region. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during their travels.

On Saturday, March 8th, at Zion Episcopal Church (7322 US Hwy 264 East), registration will begin at 9:30am with coffee and a snack being served. The Lenten Reflection will begin at 10:00am and closes at 2:30pm after Eucharist. A lunch is also provided. Save the Date!
Come to St. Mary's, Kinston (800 Rountree St.) for the 2nd Annual Trinity Deanery Youth Gathering, on April 27th from 2:00 to 4:00pm. Last year, Christ Church in New Bern hosted an awesome game of quidditch. This year, all 6th to 12th grade youth from parishes in the Trinity Deanery are invited to an afternoon of fun including a Kan-Jam competition There are 3 sets available to use but feel free to bring a set of your own to practice on! Episcopal Campus Ministry UNC-Wilmington Fundraiser on March 29th

 

Episcopal Campus Ministry at UNC-Wilmington will be partnering with the Dixie Grill to host a fundraiser for Episcopal Campus Ministry at UNCW. The event will take place on Saturday, March 29th starting at 6pm at the Dixie Grill, 116 Market Street, Wilmington, NC.  

Tickets for the event will cost $25 with a portion of the proceeds benefitting Campus Ministry at UNCW.  Included in the ticket price will be a three course meal, one glass of either wine or draught beer, and parking in the Market Street parking garage. Tickets will go on sale on February 23rd at Church of the Servant in Wilmington and St. James Wilmington. On March 2nd, tickets will be available for purchase at St. Paul's Wilmington and the Dixie Grill.  

All ticket sales will conclude on Sunday March 23rd. Tickets are limited. For more information please contact Adam Pierce through e-mail at APierce1987@gmail.com.

Acolyte Festival News:
The band playing at the festival this year is the Crosswinds Band from Beaufort, NC! You don't want to miss this year's festivities so please be sure to send in your registration information before the March 10 deadline!
