Have ever thought about going on a team mission trip to our companion diocese, the Dominican Republic? If yet, then you should attend the Diocesan Mission Training Conference at Trinity Center on Saturday, November 16, 2013.

There are many speakers coming to discuss mission trips. Karen Carroll, the contact missionary in the Dominican Republic, will be speaking on how she personally interacts with every mission team to insure their overall success and detailing the logistics necessary to enjoy a wonderful experience of serving others in need. Rebecca Gibson and her daughter Rosa will give a presentation on the fundamentals of Vacation Bible School mission teams. Richard Taft will discuss medical mission teams. Carol Milam will make an exciting announcement about her mission team plans to construct a playground for an elementary school in Jimani. "Discovering the Enneagram"   For those who seek spiritual enlightenment and growth

The Enneagram is both an ancient and a current form of self-discovery. The use of the Enneagram has grown in contemporary times because of its power and pertinence both for the individual as well as for our culture. By attending to the journey inward, we are equipped to transform our perspectives, relationships and sense of call in the world. Knowing who we are intended to be, living fully awake and making informed decisions will change our world one person at a time.

The conference facilitator is Dr. Joseph B. Howell. Dr. Howell is an experienced facilitator who has been leading Enneagram workshops for over 25 years.

Schedule:

September 27: 6:00 - 9:00 pm includes coffee and dessert
