Parents are always looking for fun, meaningful ways to help their children learn Scripture and grow closer to God. While rote memorization and repetition can be effective, studies have shown putting words to music increases the amount of material remembered and internalized. Award-winning actress, singer and songwriter Cassie Byram has teamed up with her family to produce TreasureToons: Animated Lyric Scripture Songs (Oodles Entertainment), a DVD packed with nearly an hour of engaging animations and lyrics straight from the Bible to help plant the Word of God in the hearts of children and their parents.
TreasureToons is a brand new series of animated lyric videos featuring original songs from Byram's CD Wonderfully Made. Each song features lyrics taken directly from the Bible. The TreasureToons DVD comes with 55 minutes of entertaining musical animation and includes Sing-a-Long versions and other bonus materials. There is no better way to plant the Word of God into young hearts and minds than through music combined with captivating animation. TreasureToons will have kids laughing and learning scripture in no time for a lifetime.
"I have a passion for the earliest of childhood memories to include the treasure of God's Word," Byram explains. "This passion drives me to create these purpose driven resources for children and their families."
Songs from the DVD include:
- "Wonderfully Made" - Children sing and dance along with the Oodles kids from around the world declaring we are all God's children who are Wonderfully Made.
- "When I Awake" - Children are invited to come play in a tropical paradise filled with crabs, whales and flying fish. All creation knows that God is always with us.
- "Honeycomb" - Bees and bears love the sweetness of honey. This whimsical song teaches that our words should always be as sweet as honey from a honeycomb.
- "Arise and Shine" - Look up and see that God's light is with us day and night. He leads and guides you wherever you go.
- "The Fool" - Join birds on a wire as a gentle dove helps a fellow fowl make friends. Learn the wisdom of words that are seasoned with love.
- "Remember His Wonders" - Rejoice with forest friends as we remember the wonderful things God has done for us.
Byram, who has been in the entertainment industry since age 19 and has starred on stage and screen, is the executive creative producer for
Oodles World, an integrated company that creates, produces and distributes values-based products to the faith and family marketplace. Byram understands the power of media and its impact, particularly among the youngest of viewers, and is devoted to using quality entertainment to establish God's Word in the hearts of children.
In keeping with Byram's heart for children and family, creating TreasureToons was truly a family affair. Byram's husband, Amick Byram, who has a rich history in the entertainment industry across the nation and is known for his role as the singing voice of Moses in The Prince of Egypt, serves as the president of Oodles World and produced TreasureToons. Their sons, Jonathan and Benjamin, professional musicians in Hollywood, produced and arranged the music for the DVD.

About the Creator
Cassie Byram, an award winning actress, singer and songwriter, has an impressive career history that includes theater, film, television, voice-overs, published song writing and multiple album releases for both adults and children.
She has performed on stages around the world in a number of roles, including Maria in West Side Story, for which she received a Backstage West Critics Award for Best Actress. She has also guest and co-starred in TV series and starred in the feature film The Time Changers with Gavin MacLeod and Jennifer O'Neil. Byram was also featured singing the solo "If I Loved You" in the film City Hall starring Al Pacino.
Byram has written the Lifetime Scripture Songs Collection for children, which includes her solo CD "Sweet Dreams," featuring key Bible verses set to original lullaby music, and the Sweet Dreams companion book inspired by the CD.
Now the executive creative producer for the family entertainment company, Oodles World, she describes her greatest accomplishments as being a wife and proud mother of her two boys.
