Greetings,

The global price of natural raw rubber has leveled off to an affordable price.  We have imported four different thicknesses of each and wanted you to be aware that it is available.

See How the Crepe is Produced:
We have included a link to a video made in the early 1970's.  It shows how genuine crepe sheets are produced from harvesting the tree sap to the pressing of each sheet.  The audio portion is in German but we found the video very interesting and hope you will also.

New CalfskinWhole Calf  Leather

While we are on the subject of footwear let me tell you about the new calf leather hides we received this week.

Direct from a tannery in India, these hides have been dyed and finished exclusively for Guard Industries.  They have an "Italian Style" finish that can be buffed up for a higher gloss.

Available in five colors these hides are perfect for shoe uppers, small leather craft projects, repairs and anything that calls for a smooth, clean and somewhat firm, light weight hide.
