Assalamu Alaikum

Dear Family & Friends of ICSC,

Today marks the beginning of our last weekend in Ramadan. After a month of reflection, prayer, and community, we pray that we will continue striving for goodness and God-consciousness throughout the rest of the year.

Tonight we will observe the Night of Power (Lailatu al-Qadr) at the Pasadena Convention Center at 9:30 p.m. Please note that there has been a last minute change in time for this evening. Following prayers, we will return to the Islamic Center for the first of two back-to-back Spiritual Nights. This weekend, we will host qiyam on both Friday and Saturday. Eid al-Fitr will be on Wednesday at the L.A. Convention Center - takbeer will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. Insha'Allah, we will see you all there.

Also, as we near the end of Ramadan, please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal for our Iftar Sponsorship program. Your contributions help feed an average of 500 people from our community each night during Ramadan. Thank you for your continued support. JazakAllah khair.

In peace,

Ramadan Prayer Schedule
*Our Ramadan Programs are a cornerstone of our holy month. Iftar will be served every night during the first week of Ramadan and Fridays through Sundays during the remaining weeks. Insha'Allah, we can raise funds to cover Monday through Thursday nights as well, but we are dependent on the generous contributions of our community in order to make that possible. Please consider becoming an iftar sponsor this Ramadan.*
Masha'Allah this past Saturday, June 25, we had approximately 300 men,

women and children stay to participate in Spiritual Night, suhoor and fajr prayer.

"My favorite part of Ramadan..."

"Praying all together in taraweeh and getting to listen to the recitation and commentary. I love being with my community for this month and attending special programs like Spiritual Nights on Saturdays."

Taskin Momin | Community Member

"I am deeply moved by the importance of service during this month. I think we can continue to do more as Muslims to be of service and one thing I love about Ramadan is my opportunity to inspire others to be engaged in the community and make a positive change."

Shaheed K. | Community Member

"My favorite part of Ramadan is the commentary because it gives us practical information so that we can work to better ourselves. It's very good advice for daily life."

If you are interested in being a part of our team, come join us at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday! Doors open to the public at 10:30 a.m.  View recent photos from our Food Pantry
