Isles' Financial Solutions
Isles Financial Solutions (IFS) is a 6-12 month program that uses an integrated blend of behavior change methods and financial products to improve financial capability. With regular coaching sessions, financial education and motivational training AND access to emergency credit, low-interest small financing and saving products, IFS is a truly innovative approach to overcoming key challenges of unproductive financial habits. For every $1 invested, we return $5 to individuals in the community as members create and use budgets, save at least $500, decrease debt, decrease fees and interest paid on debt, and improve credit scores by at least 100 points. Isles' Financial Solutions has the potential for national impact by providing a model that produces real improvements in financial understanding, behavior and status. Additionally, because IFS is employer-based, the benefits of improved financial capability extend to the employers as well. Financially stable employees are less distracted by stress, miss less workdays and are more productive.
This year with your support, Isles' Financial Solutions served 40 members and we have delivered practical financial education to 80 more clients. IFS participants experience a significant reduction in financial stress and increased self-reliance. Many feel their financial situation is in their control and are achieving goals and dreams for the first time! |

Meet Our Supporters: Jeff & Julia Stoller
Jeff and Julia Stoller were introduced to Isles in the 1980's. At that time, they were both serving as senior officers of the New Jersey Business & Industry Association when then-president Bruce Coe embraced Isles as an innovative partner in efforts to revitalize the Trenton community. In time, the collaboration between NJBIA and Isles led the Stollers to make a strong personal commitment to support the ongoing work of Marty and Liz Johnson, Bruce and Barbara Coe, and the entire Isles team. Jeff served as a Board member for six years and Julia made Isles a top priority for the couple's charitable giving.
The Stollers view their loyal support for Isles as an important investment in a dedicated staff - a staff that is constantly exploring new approaches to long-standing challenges to education, housing, employment and health within the Trenton community. Jeff and Julia feel that above all, "Isles has demonstrated a great commitment to self-reliance that time and again has given members of the community new opportunities to better their lives as homeowners, graduates, parents and citizens." |
