Concert in the Park - Phidget
Thursday, July 18 7:00 pm Lions Park
Phidget plays high-energy Classic Rock from the 1980's until now. Their sound is tight and fun, with guitar, keys, bass, drums and layered vocals creating a complete package that will have you up and dancing.
Come out and enjoy the last concert in the park of the summer!

Heartland Blood Centers Blood Drive
Wednesday, July 17 3:00 - 7:00 pm
Community Center
All donors will be rewarded with a BBQ pork sandwich and an Oberweis gift card for free ice cream. Each donor will be eligible for a raffle for admission tickets - four (4) lucky winners - to the Tri-County Pro Rodeo in Harvard.

Children's Entertainment Series
Starts Friday, July 19
Pack up the kids, a blanket, and a picnic lunch for the wild and funny Children's Entertainment series. Laugh on the lawn in the summer sun and enjoy your time at the park. Friday, July 19: Leonardo - Family Music

He brings a high energy, interactive concert that is a celebration of possibilities. Friday, July 26: Circus Boy - Juggler
12:00 - 12:45 pm Rotary Bandshell in Lions ParkCircus Boy blends stand-up comedy with circus skills such as juggling ping-pong balls with his mouth, balancing on a ladder, trick cycling, and other fun maneuvers.

Aqua Zumba Dance Party
Friday, July 19 6:45 - 7:45 pm
Skip the workout and join an Aqua Zumba Dance Party at the Park District Pool. Admission is $8 per person. Passes and punch cards can not be used on pool parties.

Kid's Dog Show
Saturday, July 20 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Lions Park, behind Preschool
Kids, it's time to show off your best friend and let your doggy be the star! Pure mutts and pure pedigrees alike are welcome (any age, any size) to compete for a variety of honors. Categories may include smallest, largest, best looking, best costume, best trick, and of course "Best in Show". The event will be held outdoors. Dogs must be on a leash at all times and be able to interact with other dogs. One dog per registered child. Registration is $5 (n/r $8) per child/dog pair. Download a registration form and return it with payment at the Community Center. Drop off or fax: 847-639-6290.

Pool Closes Early Thursday, July 18
The Cary Park District Pool will close at 4:00 pm on Thursday, July 18 for a Cary Barracuda swim meet.
