As Girl Scouts, we hold true to our pledge of helping people at all times. Help us be a sister to Louisiana Pines to Gulf, which has 13 parishes affected by the flood.

Collection sites will be located at the Girl Scout Service Centers on Springhill Avenue in Mobile and on Coliseum Boulevard in Montgomery until September 2.

If you live in the Wiregrass, please contact Brandy Lydick at blydick@girlscoutssa.org and if you live in the Auburn or Opelika area contact Cheryl Miller at cmiller@girlscoutssa.org. They will help with the collection of your troop's items.

Here are the items that are needed:

School supplies
Bottled water
Toilet paper
Diapers
Baby wipes
Baby food/formula
Nonperishable food
Pet supplies

After collection sites close on September 2, we will travel to our sister council, Louisiana Pines to the Gulf in Lafayette, and donate the supplies.
