Girl Scout Leader's Day is Friday, April 22

Troop Leaders and Volunteers give many hours of their time to plan and present meetings, events, and trips (not to mention participation in Fall Product and Cookie Sale).

They do this all for free, out of love, and for the benefit of the girls in their Troop.
We know how Volunteers help girls -- so we asked GSSA Staff to share how Volunteers help them!  Here are a few responses:

Because of your knowledge, talents, hard work, and dedication, Girl Scout membership continues to grow. Thank you for all you do! (Brandy Lydick, Membership)

I have a wonderful volunteer who backs me up at the Loxley cookie cupboard. With her help we have met the needs of Baldwin county leaders for the cookie sale. (Barbara Davis, Office Staff)

I love watching as you mentor girls and help them navigate through their lives, always working to ensure that they understand the importance of leadership and community service. (Karlyn Edmonds, COO)

The community service and leadership skills you teach girls enrich all of us and help the public realize that we are more than Cookies! (Meghan Cochrane, Director of Public Relations)

By sharing stories and images of the accomplishments of your Girl Scouts, you are opening a world of possibilities for all the girls in our communities. Thanks!
 (Martha Hesselein, Web/Social Media)
