There will be no regular DPAC meeting on July 26. Instead, there will be a Town-wide meeting to discuss the SmartCode, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Location to be announced. All are invited. |

Chance to win $50 Damariscotta Dollars!
Over the past three years, The Town of Damariscotta and the people of Damariscotta have worked to engage the citizens of the community in a robust public process to discuss the future of the town and set our course for the future. This collective community vision has been outlined in the Damariscotta Charrette report and other documents and plans for the town. The vision attempts to capture our true "Heart and Soul", those special places, characteristics, and customs that people treasure and that connect them to one another.
Damariscotta citizens are continuing to work to turn that vision into action. This project has been a partnership of the Town of Damariscotta, the Damariscotta Planning Advisory Committee and Friends of Midcoast Maine, in cooperation with the Orton Family Foundation.
Measuring success is a critical component of this project and you have a vital role to plan in telling the foundation whether we are making progress. A similar survey was taken by Damariscotta residents three years ago.
