Planning Board Public Hearing on Land Use Code Amendment - May 2 at 7 p.m.

The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 2 at 7 p.m. on the proposed Land Use Code amendment. The meeting will be held in the Municipal Building on School Street. Copies of the amendment will be available on line at www.damariscottame.com or at the Municipal Building.

 

DPAC MEETING TUESDAY, May 3 at 6:30 p.m.

The Damariscotta Planning Advisory Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3.  These meetings are open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.

 

Land Use Code Amendment and   
Comprehensive Plan Amendment Draft
  
After 30+ public workshops over the past 5 months building on the charrette visioning process, DPAC forwarded the draft land use code amendment, map and Comprehensive Plan amendment to the Board of Selectmen at a joint meeting Wednesday night. Copies of the amendment and tables will be available on the town website or may be viewed at the Municipal Building.
  
An amendment to the Comprehensive Plan that allows for the consideration and adoption of the propsed code amendments will be discussed at a DPAC public hearing on May 10. The Comprehensive Plan amendment is available at

Calendar
A number of meetings and public hearings are planned on the propsed code amendments and other DPAC business. All meetings will be held at the municipal building building unless noted. Dates are:

 

 
May 2: Planning Board Public Hearing at 7 pm
May 3: DPAC meeting at 6:30 pm
May 9: Planning Board Public Hearing (if needed)
May 10: DPAC Public Hearing on Comprehensive Plan amendment
May 17: DPAC meeting at 6:30 pm
May 18: Board of Selectmen Public Hearing on ballot questions
June 14: Ballot voting
June 15: Town meeting
