Greetings!

Please join the Damariscotta Planning Advisory Committeeon July 7 and August 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Municipal Building in Damariscotta. This business meeting is open to the public and the committee welcomes your particpation in their discussions.

As always, agendas and meeting times are posted on the town website.
A few days left....Survey Available On-Line
 
Have you taken the on-line survey on future growth and development in Damariscotta?  The survey will be open for a few more days, before being closed to tabulate the results. Hundreds have already added their two cents!  Be sure to add your opinion.

Read the Summaries of the Piper Village Forum and the Breakfast BIZ meeting with Damariscotta business owners! Damariscotta Community Forum
 
The Damariscotta Planning Advisory Committee met in May with interested community members at two more community forums to discuss ideas for future growth and development in Damariscotta. DPAC members also met with business owners at a Breakfast BIZ, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, to  listen to their perspectives on growth and development.

Student Intern Hired to Gather Youth Opinion 
 
B Oliver
Brittany Oliver, Lincoln Academy graduate, has been hired to work with the Damariscotta Planning Advisory Committee this summer.  Her job is to develop a project to engage young people in town and to discover the opinions of teens and young adults in town about future growth and development issues.
 
Brittany will develop social netowrking sites on-line to solicit their opinions and will meet with area youth to learn learn more about their ideas for Damariscotta.  Brittany, we are looking forward to your help!
