Two Community Forums are planned for late May and your involvement is needed.
Discussion will involve what you like about the harbor area, the parking area and the pedestrian area and what needs to be protected, changed or enhanced.
AND
Discussion will include what your ideas might be for this large undeveloped piece of land and how it might tie in to the rest of town.

How Involved Citizens Create Vibrant Enduring Communities  Bill Roper, President and CEO of the Orton Family Foundation, is the keynote speaker at Friends of Midcoast Maine's 2009 Annual Meeting. Roper will highlight pioneering individuals, communities and organizations across the country that are developing new models for citizen engagement, visioning, and land use and community planning.
The Annual Meeting, to be held Thursday, June 4 at 5:30 PM at 1812 Farm, 1297 Bristol Road, Bristol, is open to the public.
