New York Family Magazine
Editor's Note

As part of the magazine's 25th anniversary issue this month, I challenged myself to put together a list of quintessential city experiences I wish for every child. Having grown up and now raising my own children (ages 12 and 8) in the city, it was a pleasure to sit back and reflect on what I've experienced as a child, a parent, and an editor devoted to helping others raise their children here. I hope you find some inspiration--and, by all means, let me know what you would have included that I didn't. [Click here for my 25 city wishes for your children]
