Editor's Note
Walking with my eight-year-old son, Adam, to school last week, we bump into the head of the PTA with her daughter who's in Adam's grade. "Hey, Adam," the PTA leader says, at her friendly best. "How's school going?" "Hate it," he responds, because he lives to be contrary. "Why?" she asks, still all polite and pleasant. "It cuts into my free time," he clarifies, looking very proud of himself. I'm really starting to think that I should publish a book called Sh*t Adam Says.
