A study conducted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Wisconsin Population Health Institute shows that Philadelphia is the unhealthiest county in Pennsylvania.
It also ranks highest among four adjacent counties in sexually transmitted diseases, teen births, uninsured residents, smoking and obesity rates, high school dropouts, violent crime and single-parent homes.
The healthiest counties include Union, Centre, Cumberland, Snyder and uber-healthy #1 Chester County. |
