Dropped Units and Advancement

Units that have been lapsed for two months and have been dropped as an official unit are not eligible to receive advancement as the youth that were in the unit are no longer registered as Scouts. If your unit is no longer chartered please do not send parents or leaders to the office requesting advancement.  Youth in dropped units are no longer covered by accident insurance and leaders and sponsors are no longer covered with liability insurance. If your unit is dropped it is in your best interest to complete the recharter process as quickly as possible to receive the protection and benefit of the Boy Scout program. Unit tenure is also lost unless it is paid back to the time the unit dropped.

The lodge leadership can also compare the lodge's score against other lodges in their region and nationally.

If fields on the attached report are missing or blank, the lodge either submitted incomplete or incorrect information.
