Upcoming Beer Releases

11/18: Berry Merry Holiday Ale
This is our annual Holiday Beer - an Amber Ale infused with Cranberry Orange and a hint of Clove - Yummy!

11/25: WeizenBock
This is WeizenBock's second return - with a similar banana clove flavor from the same yeast we use for Summer and Dunkel.  This beer has a higher ABV than it's cousins and more malt flavor - lending it warmth and dried fruit characteristics.  Amazing!

12/16: Hoppy Holidays
This is a new series of beers we will try around the holidays.  For 2013 we
hope to release a Black IPA, not yet named (or brewed for that matter.)  A pilot batch was brewed by the brew crew this week. Stay tuned!.

12/16: MintChoPo - Mint Chocolate Porter
Yup - you heard it here first - Mint Chocolate Porter will be making its return again in 2013!  Made with Taza organic chocolate nibs and just the right amount of mint!

Try This for Your Thanksgiving Guests!
~Beach Blonde Cider Sangria

We had friend over for Halloween and tested this recipe out on them ( Yes, they are good friends!) After a few tweeks this is what we found tasted best!

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle of pinot grigio ( if you like it a sweeter try a riesling)
  • 2 1/2 cups fresh apple cider
  • 1 cup Beach Blonde Ale
  • 1/2 cup Spiced Rum (we used Kraken..Captain Morgan would work great too)
  • 3 honey crisp apples, chopped
  • 3 pears, chopped
  • You could add cranberries for color too if desired.

Mix all the ingredients together in a large pitcher..or if its a party - use a punch bowl!  Refrigerate for an hour (or longer) and serve over ice if desired.  If you like a more carbonated drink add the beer right before you serve.  Be prepared to share the recipe!  here it is online
