THE ISP PROGRAM NEEDS YOUR HELP!
International Student Program Host Families Needed

We have students arriving on 7/25 - we need homes to house them. Would you prayerfully consider opening your home to 1-4 of these students? This is a fantastic opportunity to share the love of Jesus! And, for housing a student, you are paid a stipend to cover your expenses. This takes the burden off so you can just enjoy this unique experience! 

  • July 25th-30th - We have students from the Nanhai Experimental School coming from China for our summer stay visit again this year. Please mark your calendar's and let us know if you would like to host 1-4 students or if your middle school students would like to be a delegate for the program.  We don't have the total of number of students coming yet but we will know soon. We are anticipating at least 20 students this year! 
  • September 30th-October 3rd - CCA will be hosting 42 high school girls for a short three day stay.   These young ladies will be performing for CCA students and will stay through the weekend.  We are asking that host families would house two girls at each home.  There will be a small stipend provided for each host family.

CCA is looking for prayer warriors to pray and fast the 2nd Friday of each summer month. Would you like to join us? We are asking the Lord for direction with the next steps for CCA (see flyer) as we believe that prayer is the most important factor in seeking God's will for our future! CUB SCOUT BIKE RODEO - All boys finishing K-4th grade are invited to join in the fun with Cub Scout Pack 358 on Saturday, June 25th from 10am-12pm. Come get your bike safety checked then run the rodeo course. Located in the rear parking lot of King's Way Christian School. Check out the flyer!

MIDDLE SCHOOL NEEDS A VACUUM!

HELP! Our vacuum cleaner has gone on strike!! Do you have an extra one that needs a home? We'd love to take it off of your hands! It would be such a blessing for our cleaning crew - their broom is just not cutting it any longer!  Contact Mrs. Thurlow or Mrs. Pesacreta if you are able to help. Thank you so much!

The Safest Ride

CCA had our Safest Ride Final Post Observation last week.  When they did the initial observation, we were at 30% of the kids being dropped off in the morning that were riding in the front seat.  After two weeks of educational awareness and the Officer "Meet & Greet" activity, that number dropped to 10%!  The observation last week was to see if the results would last over time.   The results from last week were at 16% which is still a decrease in numbers. As we move into the summer months, let's keep up the good work!  As a reminder, we have included a link to the Safest Ride recommendations. Thank you, parents, for working with us on the Safest Ride Child Passenger Safety Campaign!

Avoid crowded school supply aisles. Order your classroom supplies online - and get back to summer!  CCA is partnering with ClassBundl again this year. Just click the link above and search for CCA. Our school supply list has been entered into their system, so you can order everything your student needs. The order will ship to your door for free, and a percentage of your purchase is returned to CCA. Win/Win!

Tuition Trade Positions
Applications for Tuition Trade positions will be accepted at the Elementary School office until June 24th. Please contact Mr. Hoff  if you have any questions.

Teacher Requests
If you are wanting to request a specific teacher for your elementary school student, please remember that your request must be academic in nature and must be emailed to Mr. Hoff by June 30th.
