5th GRADE SHADOW DAY / MOVING UP PARENT NIGHT - March 1st is our annual 5th grade
shadow day, where the 5th graders come to the Middle School and get to experience a "day in the life" of a middle school student. All of the students look forward to this day each year.  That evening, starting at 6:30, all 5th grade parents are encouraged to attend our "Moving Up Night" at the Middle School campus. This is a time for parents to meet the Middle School staff, tour the campus, and ask questions.

FAMILY IN NEED OF CARPOOL HELP - We have a Middle School student who needs help getting home from school each Monday-Wednesday.  If you live anywhere near Burton and Andresen, would you consider helping this family out? Please contact Mrs. Pesacreta or Mrs. Thurlow for more information. Thank you so much CCA Family!

ELEMENTARY LOST AND FOUND IS OVERFLOWING! Parents, please come check the lost and found for any items your student may be missing...the racks are overflowing! All unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the trimester, which is next Friday, 3/4/16. Thanks!

THE SAFEST RIDE
PRAIRIE HIGH SCHOOL OPEN HOUSEIf your 8th grader is planning to attend Prairie High School next year, they are encouraged to attend their Open House on 3/17 from 6:30-8:00pm.  This is a chance to see the various clubs, sports and academic programs that Prairie has to offer. There will also be a chance to sign-up for a school tour, which will be held on 3/25. Check out the flyer for more information.

EVENT HELP NEEDED - A well-loved CCA tradition, the "Variety Show and Dessert Raffle", is in need of your help!  We are looking for someone to step up to coordinate this event, and a team of helpers to assist them.  The Variety Show has been rescheduled to the last Friday in April (4/29). If no one steps forward, we will have to cancel this event this year.  If you would be willing to help, or have any questions about what is involved, please send an email to Mrs. Thulin. Thank you!

THANK YOU CCA FAMILY! - Thank you to everyone who contributed to Lori Arnold's family on GoFundMe.  We reached our goal of $1000!  We would love to bless them above and beyond our goal, so if anyone would still like to contribute, you can drop your donation of cash or check to the elementary office, and let them know it's for the Arnold Family Fund.  All money raised goes directly to the Arnold family. Thank you for helping us bless this family!

Box Tops & Campbells Labels

Did you know that CCA earns money for each and every Box Top & Campbells label you turn in? This money has been used for much needed items from PE Equipment to Art Supplies. As an added incentive, we have quarterly contests to see which class can bring in the most! If you have any questions, please contact the PTF.
Effortless Fundraising

CCA has partnered with Fred Meyer and AmazonSmile in an opportunity to raise money. For Fred Meyer customers, it is as easy as linking your rewards card. For Amazon.com shoppers, all of the same products, prices, and service you are accustomed to are accessible through AmazonSmile, which donates 0.5% of each purchase to CCA. By taking a few simple steps you may aide in the raising of funds. For more information about the necessary steps, see our flyer.
