Tickets are now on sale for "A Red Carpet Event" - Cornerstone's Father Daughter dance on Saturday, January 30th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. You won't want to miss this star-studded evening filled with food, dancing, and photos galore. Tickets are $40 for a father/daughter couple, and only $10 more for each additional daughter in the family. Ticket sales end on Friday, January 22nd. Due to limited space, we can only accommodate 240 people, so once the tickets are gone, the event will be closed. Get your tickets today in the elementary school office, or by filling out the attached form and sending it in with your payment. The tickets will then be sent home with your child...be sure to ask for them!

GROWING GODLY GIRLS IS BACK! An all new year is launching Wednesday, January 20th. It will be lead by Mrs. Poland and Miss Freudenburg. Kindergarten through 5th grade girls join together in the Fellowship Hall on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:45pm for snacks, games, worship, crafts, small group discussion and so much more. Contact Mrs. Rose to get registered for the 1st six week session - only $40. Space is limited...sign up today!
MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR GROWING GODLY GIRLS - We need 6-8 volunteers to help with the Growing Godly Girls groups again this year. This is such a blessing for not only the K-5th graders, but also the Middle School girls. Mentoring, what a blessing!
HELP NEEDED FOR FATHER/DAUGHTER DANCE... We need all hands on deck to pull off this amazing event! We will need volunteers to help set up on Friday evening January 29th as well as volunteers January 30th during the event and people to help clean up after. If you are interested in helping there will be a mandatory meeting on Thursday January 14th at 3:15 in Mrs. Poland's classroom. If you have any questions feel free to email Mrs. Poland.
VARIETY SHOW DATE CHANGE - Our Annual Variety Show and Dessert Raffle has been moved to Aprl 29th. Please be watching the newsletter for additional information.
STAFF "ALL ABOUT ME" FORMS - Several parents have asked the office for access to the "All About Me" information pages that our staff fills out each year. Many parents like to refer to it around the Holidays and Teacher Appreciation Week, to learn more about the likes and dislikes of their child's teacher. For your convenience, here is the link to the All About Me forms! All staff are listed in alphabetical order, by last name.
DOES YOUR STUDENT NEED HELP WITH MATH? We've got a solution for you! Mr. Smith, our Middle School math teacher is offering after school tutoring. Please contact him for available dates/times.

New Middle School Teacher!
You are not seeing double, we have a new teacher in our midst! Mr. Chris Cochrane will be student teaching January 4th through March 25th under the supervision of Mr. Dan Smith. Chris will spend several weeks observing and helping in the classroom and culminate his time here with 2-3 weeks of full time teaching of the Math Classes. Mr. Cochrane has already obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and after his student teaching term will earn his Master of Arts in Mathematics grades 5-12.

RUNNING CLUB
Coach Mason's Running Club is back! It is up and "running" on Monday's from 3:30-4:15. This is open to all 5th-8th graders, as well as any parent who would like to join in the fun! This is a FREE club; however, athletic waivers are required before participating.

Box Tops & Campbells Labels
Did you know that CCA earns money for each and every Box Top & Campbells label you turn in? This money has been used for much needed items from PE Equipment to Art Supplies. As an added incentive, we have quarterly contests to see which class can bring in the most! If you have any questions, please contact the PTF.
