Parent Teacher Conferences are Next Week!
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for next Monday and Tuesday. The schedule has been created with all families in mind, including those with siblings at both schools, so please try to make your scheduled time. If you are unable to make the time allotted to you, please contact your child's teacher (ES) or the office (MS) to make changes. We have put together some "Steps to Take" to help you prepare for a productive meeting.

MIDDLE SCHOOL BAND INSTRUMENTS - It can be a challenge for the students to get their instruments, back packs, computers, etc. from their lockers to the bus, then off the bus again to head to band. We are asking that instruments now be dropped at the Elementary School prior to band class. The easiset way for this to occur will be during the student's PE class. They will just grab their instrument as they go out the door and onto the bus to PE (without all the backpacks/computers/etc.). Mrs. Gaston is aware of this change and will support the kids now bringing instruments over with this transition.
SUCCESS THROUGH CHESS FOR K-6th - There is still time to join! Unlike many "chess" programs that merely teach the basics, this comprehensive instructional program is scaffolded with beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. The goals of this program are to instruct in principles that will help the student improve in chess, as well as develop life skills that will aid the student in academics, sports, arts, and future success. All the while, a fun an exciting environment will be maintained. Sign-up thorugh the Elementary School office.
CHRISTMAS CONCERT IS COMING! - Be sure to mark your calendars for this year's Christmas Concert! December 15th @ 6:30pm in the Crossroads Sanctuary. You won't want to miss what the ECE and Elementary Choirs and the Elementary and Middle School bands have prepared for you!
HELP...ELEMENTARY LOST AND FOUND IS OVERFLOWING!! Parents, PLEASE come check the lost and found rack to see if any of the items belong to your student. We will be donating any unclaimed items next week! We would also ask that you please mark your student's name in their clothing, especially coats, which get left on the playground daily. Thank you!
DOES YOUR STUDENT NEED HELP WITH MATH? We've got a solution for you! Mr. Smith, our Middle School math teacher is offering after school tutoring. Please contact him for available dates/times.

Box Tops & Campbells Labels
Did you know that CCA earns money for each and every Box Top & Campbells label you turn in? This money has been used for much needed items from PE Equipment to Art Supplies. As an added incentive, we have quarterly contests to see which class can bring in the most! If you have any questions, please contact the PTF.

Effortless Fundraising
CCA has partnered with Fred Meyer and AmazonSmile in an opportunity to raise money. For Fred Meyer customers, it is as easy as linking your rewards card. For Amazon.com shoppers, all of the same products, prices, and service you are accustomed to are accessible through AmazonSmile, which donates 0.5% of each purchase to CCA. By taking a few simple steps you may aide in the raising of funds. For more information about the necessary steps, see our flyer.
