"Taster's Choice" Food & Fellowship Event
.
Join us as we start a new tradition with Food & Fellowship! The new event will be a "Taster's Choice Cookbook Contest!" Friday November 6th, we will fellowship after a busy week while showing off our cooking skills. From this event, the PTF will create a CCA cookbook to raise money for the students. Check out the details in the flyer and submit your recipe card to Mr. Hoff.

Elementary Library Storybook Pumpkin Patch
Our Elementary Library is growing a Storybook Pumpkin Patch, and we need your help! Decorate a pumpkin to look like one of your favorite book characters, and bring it to the library to plant in our Storybook Pumpkin Patch! Full details can be found on our Storybook Pumpkin Patch Flyer. Have questions? Contact Mrs. Reed...she will be tending the patch!

MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEER TRYOUTS - Our Cheer Squad for the 2015-16 Basketball season is about to be chosen! Is your 6th-8th grade student wanting to try out? Please check out the CCA Cheerleading Form for all the details. Date for try-outs will be announced soon.
MIDDLE SCHOOL MASCOT TRYOUTS - Does your MS student want to try out to be Sampson? This is a very important job! Our CCA Mascot Form needs to be turned in by Monday 10/26 in order to try-out. All the details can be found on the form. Date for try-outs will be announced soon. Go Lions!
PLAYGROUND TOYS - Now that the rain has started, we need more building blocks for kids to play with under the covered area. If you or anyone you know has Legos, Lincoln Logs, or any other building blocks they would like to donate to our elementary playground, please email Tracy Stevens.
CCA FAMILY NEEDS OUR HELP! We have a parent who is having surgery and needs our help. We need volunteers to help watch her children one or more days a week. For more information, please contact Mr. Hoff. Thank you!
DOES YOUR STUDENT NEED HELP WITH MATH? We've got a solution for you! Mr. Smith, our Middle School math teacher is offering after school tutoring. Please contact him for available dates/times.
SERVICE HOURS OPPORTUNITY! Our Elementary school lunch crew needs your help! Pizza Wednesday's are growing and we need an extra pair of hands. If you have one Wednesday a month to spare, we could use you! Please contact Mrs. Thulin for more details.
LION PRIDE VOLUNTEERS - Our PTF needs your help! They are looking for a few volunteers to help with our Lion Pride assemblies this year, the first one being 10/30. If you think you would enjoy getting a crowd of awesome students excited about our school, they sure could use you! Another great service hours opportunity! MIDDLE SCHOOL NEEDS NEW MICROWAVES! Do you have an extra microwave you could donate? The lunch room needs an additional oven for the students and the teacher's lounge could sure use one too! Please contact Mrs. Pesacreta or Mrs. Thurlow for more information. Thank you!

Box Tops & Campbells Labels
Did you know that CCA earns money for each and every Box Top & Campbells label you turn in? This money has been used for much needed items from PE Equipment to Art Supplies. As an added incentive, we have quarterly contests to see which class can bring in the most! If you have any questions, please contact the PTF.
