With all the rain last week, it seems like the summer is over however hopefully next Saturday will be fine for Steve's annual Great River Race BBQ in aid of the RNLI by the river at Brentford Dock. As ever, Steve will be on the grill from about 1pm onwards so please do come down with your friends and try of Steve's delicious burgers. If you are able to help set up in the morning, tidy up at the end or provide a salad on the day, it would be much appreciated. Please get in touch with Steve on 07710-990413.

Saturday 12th September - The Great River Race
As Brentford Dock Marina has a great view just 4 miles from the finish, we will once again be holding a charity BBQ on the riverbank in aid of the RNLI. Steve will be doing the cooking as usual, so all you need to bring is some money to buy a burger and a bottle or two of your favourite tipple. The river will be closed to boating anyway, so do come along and support, from 12.30 onwards through the afternoon.
Assistance setting us in the morning is always welcome, as are additional salads etc. If you are able to help out, or donate a salad etc, please liaise with Steve at stevetatham@hotmail.com or give him a call on 07710-990413. Friday 18th September - Moonlight Cruise
Setting off around 18.00hrs, we will cruise through London as lights come on, arriving in Limehouse around 21.00hrs in time for a beer and a curry. Crew can then return to Brentford on the DLR or alternatively use the DLR to join the boats for the journey back on Saturday. We have berths at Limehouse booked for four boats, so it promises to be a great cruise. If you would like to join this cruise as skipper or crew, please let me know. HW on this day is at 18.02 so we will plan to be leave Brentford at around 3.30pm to cruise up to one of the local pubs, depending on the weather and the Rugby. We will aim to be back at Brentford Dock by about 6pm to order in Fish and Chips at the Snug.If you plan to join this cruise as skipper or crew, please let me know.
