Commodore's Report: The Commodore recalled that there had been a late start to the season, due to flooding. There had been a PLA meeting (largely about rowers), a successful Launch Party at the Thames Restaurant, a visit by the TYC to Pappadums, an early cruise to Teddington (from which Club Claret had to be rescued by the RNLI), a successful trip to London VTS and Greenwich YC, a visit to the ATYC rally at which Joy Harvey broke her leg), a popular BBQ at Brentford raising £600 for the RNLI, and supper at Swami Spice.
AK has registered with some social media sites and seen some interest. The marina is full and some of the boats are very active - definitely prospects for membership.
AK appealed for support for cruises arranged in 2015.
Treasurer's Report: CP presented the accounts which show a rise in income, and a healthy balance in the bank. Some 10 new members had joined, and some old ones left. CP was happy to say that she was now in control of the BCC account, but that a fraudulent DD had been spotted and was being investigated.
Election of officers: John Scott tried to get demoted, but was overruled. Steve Tatham was promoted Rear Commodore. The new committee is thus:
Commodore: Andrew Kirkwood
Vice Commodore: John Scott
Rear Commodore: Steve Tatham
Treasurer: Christine Peppiatt
Hon Sec: Clive Evans
Committee: Jan & Leslie Ferber, Giselle Mansfield
