Greetings!
I hope that you had a good Christmas and that you managed to avoid the ill effects of the recent extraordinary weather that we have had.
The committee will be meeting in the next few weeks to finalise this year's events schedule. We plan to include the River Wey, the London Ring, and the usual trips up and down the river. In addition, I hope to arrange a visit to the Port of London's Vessel Traffic Services Centre (London VTS).
I am also keen to attract some new members this year and hope increase the club's presence on social media and update the website.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a happy New Year and hope that it brings us many good times together.

BCC Christmas Party at the Coach and Horses
It was wonderful to see so many of you at our Christmas party , especially those who came from further afield to join us. Good food and company made for a great start to the Christmas season.

January 201411th - Saturday - The London Boat ShowClive Evans is planning to visit the London Boat Show at Excel next Saturday. If you would like to join Clive or just meet for a beer at the Guinness stand, please call Clive on 07855-725614. The London Boat Show runs from 4th-12th January. Advance ticket admission is £16, or £10 between 6th-8th January. London Boat Show 12th - Sunday - New Year's Cruise We will plan to leave at around 10.30am in order to reach the Barmy Arms in good time for an early lunch, so at to be back in the marina by 2pm. Currently the BBC website is forecasting a cloudy but dry day with temperatures reaching 12°C. Please let me know if you would like to come on this cruise so I can get an idea of numbers.
