ACEware Hires Additional Tech |

Exciting News!
ACEware Systems would like to announce the hiring of a additional technician, Lindsey Lieberman.
Lindsey is from the Dallas area where she served seven and half years as Assistant Registrar for the CE program at Southern Methodist University. It was here that Lindsey honed her Student Manager chops, working with all facets of the Student Manager Program and technology.
Lindsey's true passion is music and her violin. She has her BA in Music Performance and a MA in Music Education along with minors in Political Science and Philosophy. She also has her c.p.p. from LERN.
When not being technical for ACEware, Lindsey likes to play her violin professionally and in volunteer gigs around Dallas, travel, camp and garden. She also likes to bake...other ACEware staff would agree she is pretty good at that!

Almost Anything Can Be Taught Online... |
"Can't" just isn't in the vocabulary of online class creators.
Lauri brought this press release to my attention. Escoffier Online, an International Culinary Academy out of France, has created the first Distance Learning Culinary arts program for Harper College's Education program.
This includes both certifications in in Culinary Arts and Pastry Arts.
Why should this interest you? Besides the immediate thought of adding a new set of certifications to your offerings, I think it shows that online education with the help of new technologies are changing the way we think about education. We are inching closer to fundamental changes in how we provide education and those changes are already taking place.
