It is believed that technological development makes life better. However, do you really have more time for family and leisure after using the Internet? Indeed, the Internet can help you work faster and easier but that's assuming the amount of work remains the same. A serious by-product of the Internet has been the surge of productivity that leads to an uncontrolled increase in workload. As a result, in this changing digital world, we end up with a nearly endless to-do list that permeates into every aspect of our lives. People stay busy through an increasing number of 'convenient' access points like smart phones and tablets. It's incredible how 'wired' our society has become. A simple checklist to see if you're in a digital world would sound like this: Do you check you email and text every 30 minutes? 5 minutes? Is your smart phone on your bedside ready to greet you with emails in the morning? For years the line between our work and personal lives has been blurred by technology. If it is a normal life style for people living in a digital world, the most victims must be the generation in transition between analog to digital.
