This forum will provide an overview of programs offered through the Center for Public Service, announce information sessions, application requirements and deadlines, and post ongoing internship opportunities. Jazz Fest Ticket Give-Away!

The Center for Public Service is giving away a PAIR of free tickets to Jazz Fest, applicable to any one day during the first weekend of the festival (April 25-28). To enter the drawing, you must be a Tulane undergraduate student, and you must "like" and "share" the CPS Facebook page.

Find an Internship for Summer or Fall 2013!
The Center for Public Service is hosting their internship fair on Wednesday, April 10th from 5:30-7:00pm in the LBC Qatar Ballroom. There will be representatives from over 100 community partner organizations in attendance. Professional attire is required.

OCH Art Market and NOLA Locavores
The OCH Art Market is looking for up to three interns to curate, plan, and market the upcoming themed art markets. Each art market has a distinctive theme that features different food, music, art, and audiences. Themes include: Asian Art, Recycled Art, Latin Art, Photographic Arts, and others. Each Intern will be given a wide latitude in this opportunity to develop one of the themed markets. Interns studying Studio Arts, Architecture, Art History, English, Marketing, or Communications would be a good fit this internship.

The NOLA Locavores are looking for an intern for a wide variety of opportunities to help with the organization and the execution of the 2013 New Orleans Eat Local Challenge. For the Summer semester, students will be directly engaged in the staging of the event. The intern will be assisting in one of the many tasks involved in running a 30-day local foods diet challenge. The job descriptions include: public relations, marketing, and event planning .

A public service internship is a unique way for Tulane
students to get involved in the New Orleans community while applying their knowledge and skills.
By doing a public service internship, juniors and seniors have the opportunity to:
- Work with a community organization of your choice;
- Gain professional experience;
- Earn up to 3 hours at the 4000-level in your major/minor field;
- Fulfill the 2nd tier of the Tulane public service graduation requirement;
- Make a lasting impact in your community.

**The Institute on Philanthropy and Voluntary Service is an eight-week academic internship program held in Washington, D.C. for undergraduate students interested in volunteerism and careers in the nonprofit sector.
