Wilmington West Rotary Club Supports Pulaski's Students and Staff
As part of their on-going anti-bullying campaign, members of the Wilmington West Rotary Club visited Pulaski Elementary School's kindergarten classes to read stories that promoted showing kindness to others. The partners eagerly answered questions posed by students and encouraged them to treat others with respect.
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week, the Rotary Club members donated three baskets of treats and healthy snacks for teachers to enjoy during their Professional Learning Communities.
Finally, the partners enhanced the school's existing Chess Club by donating chess sets to be used by the students and parent volunteers. This partnership is a true example of how community members can get involved in the lives of the students and staff in schools to show their appreciation and desire to help. "PAW-some" Partners, like the Wilmington West Rotary Club, ROCK!
