There are a number of factors that can contribute to impure drinking water, whether it's coming from a local source or your RV's water tank. If you notice that the water has a strange taste or smell, or is not running clear, those are all warning flags that it may be contaminated. Standing water in your RV water tank can become a hazard as well, as it stimulates algae and bacteria growth. An empty tank can still pose a problem if any substances are left inside. When you are at a campground, you can't always trust in the local water source, especially if you are at an unfamiliar place. Luckily there are ways to get around these issues, including using drinking water fresheners and water purity testers.

"The changeover went very smoothly. The ballasts in my RV were pop riveted in place so I opted to leave them as is and just cut out all of the wiring except for the power and the ground. I then wired in the included connectors for the LED light to plug in to and then installed the LED tubes. Voila! The light is brighter than the original T8 tubes but that is fine with me. I like things more brightly lit."
