Summer Learning Programs Help Indiana Kids Succeed
In Indiana, 25% of families say at least one child attended a summer program in 2013. However, the demand for summer programs exceeds the current rate of participation, with 46% of Indiana families reporting that they would like their children to participate.

And Indiana parents agree, with 87% supporting public funding for summer learning programs.

is a great opportunity to showcase the importance of summer learning. Host an event during the week of June 19 or anytime during the summer!  

Show people in your community how summer learning programs give children and youth exciting experiences to learn and grow and develop skills to succeed in school, work, college and life.

This year for Summer Learning Day, National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) is asking everyone-programs, families, schools, educators, policymakers, businesses-to make summer a season of learning by taking the #KeepKidsLearning Pledge.

Professional Development Scholarships!

In honor of Summer Learning Day, the Indiana Afterschool Network is releasing FIFTY scholarships at the reduced rate of $40 per user (valued at $75 each) in the Indiana Academy for Out-of-School Time Learning!

This annual membership offers 36 interactive, online modules specifically designed for out-of-school time youth workers.
