New National RTAP Product: Marketing Transit Toolkit
National RTAP's newest product, the online Marketing Transit Toolkit, is designed to help rural and tribal transit systems (particularly those without dedicated marketing staff) develop or enhance their marketing plans and implement various marketing strategies. It provides a wealth of information, tools, and resources, but you can also just focus on what you need and jump right to those sections of the toolkit.

Updated START Training Now Available!
National RTAP's popular Safety Training and Rural Transit module has been updated and converted into an interactive online course, through a partnership with the Center for Transportation e-Learning. The course is hosted on CTeL's learning management system, and links are provided in National RTAP's LMS .

Federal Transit Administration and US DOT Updates
Guidance for subrecipients complying with ADA is now available through an FTA Circular. Read Therese McMillan's Fastlane post on the subject.
FTA Transportation Asset Management Sessions are available through webinars on October 19, 27, and 29 and during a live session at National RTAP's conference on October 29th. These sessions are intended to provide multiple avenues for Small, and Tribal transit operators to learn about FTAs Transit Asset Management (TAM) Proposed Rulemaking. We invite you to review and make comment to the TAM Proposed Rule docket, the comment period ends Nov 30th 2015.
FTA published an NPRM and request for comment on a new Public Transportation Safety Program. Comments due October 13, 2015.
