Register Now for National RTAP Webinar: New Website and Support Center

National RTAP will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, January 15th at 2PM ET to introduce the new website, support center, and features. National RTAP's new website design enables viewers to access information and engage with National RTAP staff, services and products more easily. With news, best practices, and resources changing regularly, visitors to the National RTAP website will find reasons to return to the site again and again! Specific improvements include an enhanced Resource Library, expanded Tribal Transit section, new State RTAP Manager directory, and dynamic homepage.

Upcoming Deadline: Presentation Proposals for the Rural Public and Intercity Bus Conference

The committee for the 21st RIBTC conference in Monterey, CA, will be accepting conference proposals through January 10th (early submission), and January 31st (final submission). Submit a proposal for one of the five conference "routes."

Notice of Funding Availability from the FTA for the Low or No Emission Vehicle Deployment Program (LoNo) Program, which funds, "capital acquisitions and leases of zero emission and low-emission transit buses, including acquisition, construction, and leasing of required supporting facilities such as recharging, refueling, and maintenance facilities."

Nominate Topics for Topic Guides 

Have you used the Topic Guides on our new website? Now's your chance to tell us what new topic guides you want to see! 


Here's how to participate: email 
nfo@nationalrtap.org, or leave a comment on our Facebook page with suggestions for topic guides, by Monday morning. A good topic is broad in scope, while still having a definite focus. Examples would be: mobility management, NEMT, resources for employment transportation, etc. 
 
On Monday, we will take the top suggestions and put them to a vote on our homepage (poll is in the bottom right corner). Make sure to vote! The poll will be open the entire week, and we'll take the top suggestions and make them a reality.
