Thank You to GTFS Builder Workshop Attendees

National RTAP staff were pleased to see such a good turnout for the recent 3-workshop series on using GTFS Builder. For those of you who missed one of the workshop sessions, or could not attend at all, step-by-step instructions are available in our support center (on the right, you will see Steps 1, 2 and 3). The full first webinar is also available, with the other two to come.


What's New in the National RTAP Resource Library...

Transit in Small Cities: A Primer for Planning, Siting, and Designing Transit Facilities in Oregon addresses questions related to making transit more accessible in small cities and similar communities in terms of smart design of facilities, and locations. A basic planning process, as well as ways it can be tailored to individual communities, is laid out.
 
Potential Impacts of Federal Health Care Reform on Public Transit  discusses the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and its potential impacts on public transit operations in terms of increased ridership and other factors.

Forecasting Paratransit Services Demand: Review and Recommendations analyzes current and alternative demand forecasting procedures for paratransit services. The report also includes factors to consider when developing models for demand forecasting.

National RTAP Looking for Trainers for Directory

National RTAP staff is working on putting together a directory of trainers that serve our customers at the local, state, and national level.
We need your help to put the directory together! We are currently compiling a list of trainers, including all contact information.

Please send us your suggestions for the directory with the following information:

-Trainer's name, email, phone number, address
-Where the trainer will travel, if applicable, and if known
-If you submit a trainer's name, please include your name, email, and phone number so we can reach you with any questions
