March 24, 2014 - Are you close to achieving a goal, but cannot seem to get over that last hump? Are you wishing your success could be easier for you? Do others appear to accomplish whatever they set out to do without the challenges you seem to face? It is always easy to believe that others do not have challenges as hard as you do. Chances are it is what you are not seeing that has you fooled, both in looking at others and looking at your situation. First, stop comparing yourself to others. Second, start focusing on what you want and desire versus what is not working or isn't happening.
Take an MM&I Moment to envision the end result of the success you desire ... as if the goal has already being reached ... the project already completed ... the achievement already realized. Now, instead of focusing on the challenge or hardship you are facing, focus on the very next step you can take because it is a step within your control. No matter how insignificant it may seem, take that step. Now try something more daring. What would be the next step you would take after the goal had already been reached, project were completed, or the achievement accomplished? Would you connect with someone or share with someone? Would you move forward with something specific? Perhaps the step you would take afterwards will inspire a step you would never have thought of that you could take now to help you regain momentum toward achievement. By getting your thinking out of a rut, you will no longer feel you are stuck in a rut.

Savvy Secret Tip of the Week
Is your business strategically involved with organizations that will elevate the company's awareness, credibility and preference in the marketplace? Too many companies don't get involved because their ownership cannot see the value. Too many others get involved on many fronts, but in a haphazard way - with little or no strategic thought regarding how the involvement will be mutually beneficial and provide long-term strategic value. If you are actively involved, but are not seeing any return, OR your company is not involved because you don't see the value, then you are not properly leveraging what high growth companies know and understand.
