I am thrilled to have the pleasure of working with Resonant Motion, Inc. in an effort to promote positive social change and foster dialogue surrounding the benefits of artistic communication. While music is a driving force in my everyday life and an art that fills me with meaning and happiness, I have also found in times of hardship that music has an uncanny ability to lift, inspire, and restore hope.
In organizing this particular event, I have been fortunate to team up with the
Community String Project, whose mission to educate and foster a love of music is directly aligned with the goals of Resonant Motion. The Noah Baerman Trio is an esteemed force in the jazz scene, evidenced most recently by Noah's latest album,
'
Ripples'.
The album addresses the challenges of adversity that are fundamental to human life, and celebrates the courageous fight against these struggles. By bringing in this trio of fantastic jazz musicians, we hope to raise funds for the Community String Project's work and aid them in growing their community of educators, students, and audiences.
This project is one that I am very passionate about, and I hope that you will join me for an incredible evening!
With love,
Claire
P.S. If childcare is needed and you would like to attend, please email me directly at cezrandall@gmail.com
and I'd be happy to offer my help!
About the event:
An evening with
the
Noah Baerman Trio
Presented by Resonant Motion, Inc.
Friday, March 28, 2014 at 7:00pm
First Congregational Church
Bristol, RI
Donations to benefit the Community String Project will be gladly accepted
Join us on the evening of March 28 for a jazz performance and discussion by the Noah Baerman Trio, with proceeds to benefit the efforts of the Community String Project.
This event is cultivated by Resonant Motion, Inc, a nonprofit organization committed to the great potential that exists when music intersects with meaningful facets of the world outside of pitches and rhythms.
RMI believes that music has a profound capacity to inspire people towards personal growth, strength and transformation and to educate people about issues important to their world. Likewise, these things can all provide inspiration and thus aid in creating more meaningful and potent music.
Along with the Community String Project, whose efforts fall in line with RMI's mission, and whose success is an inspiring reminder of the culture of community, RMI Program Associate Claire Randall (former Bristol resident) is pleased to invite you to what will surely be a special night of music and sharing.
