The Excellence in Research Administration initiative has finalized the next wave of process enhancements, as announced recently. A complete summary of the changes, which became effective February 1, is provided in the the announcement. Please note that additional eCOI Training Sessions have been scheduled since last week's announcement. While not mandatory, training is recommended for faculty, staff, and department administrators who are not familiar with the eCOI process. Additional training will be posted to the Office of Research Regulatory Affairs website

Busch Biomedical Grants Submissions Due March 18 
Proposals for the 2016 Busch Biomedical Grant Program will be accepted starting February 22. The deadline is March 18 at 5 p.m. Grants of $25,000 to $50,000 for projects of one to two years will be awarded. At least $400,000 is expected to be available for this year's program. The Busch Biomedical Grant Program is open to full-time faculty universitywide. More information is posted here.

Systematic Review Service Offered by Rutgers Health Science Libraries
Are you interested in conducting a systematic review? Do you need the assistance of an expert searcher? Rutgers' health sciences librarians are available to assist or partner with you in the process of developing a systematic review. They offer a systematic-review service to faculty, staff, and students in the following areas: guidance with the systematic review development processes, protocol development, question formulation, search strategy, databases searching, grey literature searching, and more. Details are posted here.
Training on RAPSS for Faculty and Staff 
ORSP has scheduled training sessions on the new Research Administration and Proposal Submission System (RAPSS), which is mandatory for submission of new grant proposals to all federal agencies that use Grants.gov (when Phase Two is completed this spring, RAPSS will be extended to state agencies, foundations, other sponsors, and research contracts). Training sessions are now scheduled in New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden. The schedule is posted here.
The RDI2 Open House will be held February 23 in the CoRE Building on Busch Campus. This half-day event will feature an introduction to RDI2, remarks from its senior leadership, and discussion about users' experiences with the institute's new high-performance computing equipment. Community-University Research Partnership Grants for New Brunswick
The Office of Community Affairs is accepting proposals for the 2016-2017 Community-University Research Partnership Grants for New Brunswick. Awards of up to $25,000 will provide funds to build new research collaborations on important community issues. Applications should address one or more of the following topics: public health, safety and wellness; cultures and diversity; sustainability and innovation; and citizenship, leadership, and youth development. ORED Units Now at 33 Knightsbridge Road in Piscataway
Much of the Office of Research and Economic Development moved to a building at 33 Knightsbridge Road, Piscataway. Units relocated include the Division of Grant and Contract Accounting, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP), the Office of Research Commercialization, corporate contracts, research development, and research operations. Telephone numbers have not changed due to the move.
