Mobile Learning Open Mic Night
Join us on Thursday, May 9, at 8 PM, to share how you are using mobile devices to support student projects. Each presenter will have 5 minutes to share. These presentations are meant to be informal. Even if you haven't signed up to present, we would love to hear from you! We'll meet in the VSTELive room.

The Emerging Technologies Institute is an annual program offered by the VCU School of Education to address current professional development needs of Virginia K-12 educators in the area of instructional technology. Courses are taught online and will remain accessible after the course concludes.

 

Courses include Educational Technology for School Leaders, The New Media Literacy, Technology Integration in STEM Disciplines, Technology Integration in the Humanities, Technology Integration in the Elementary Classroom, and Technology in Teaching Health and Physical Education.

Hunting Educational Sims ~ Come be a sim hunter as we break into groups and hunt down some of the best educational sims in Second Life using the brainstormed list of sims collected on VSTE Island several weeks ago and report back by posting photos. Join VSTEOnline to post photos collected.
