INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, DECEMBER 3, 2012

PLANS FOR 2013, HERE AND ABROAD
To the right is a recent picture taken at "Centro Joaquin" our project in Peru. As many of you know, I cancelled my October trip because of my son's surgery. Now that he is doing well, my plans are to return in January. One of my goals for the trip is to investigate the possibility of putting in hydrotherapy equipment at the center. It is amazing the gains that someone can make in the water, that are so difficult on land. We have four children that can benefit much from this service, but need to investigate the water availability in the area along with heating and costs. I look forward to bringing back more pictures and lots of stories for all of you. This photo was taken by a volunteer writer on her trip to Peru. She will be submitting a story about our work for printing on or near the DAY FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES, DECEMBER 3RD! CLICK TO READ NOW
