In addition to the packages sent to our troops, we also enjoy sending baby baskets to those families experiencing births while daddy is deployed.   This week we heard from one of those families.

Samuel's unit received a care package from your organization and they truly appreciate it. We are also extremely grateful for the baby package, as well. I delivered our daughter 6 weeks ago and I am starting to use the donated items. Thankfully, Samuel was allowed to come home for the delivery due to some complications I was experiencing but he is now back in Afghanistan and Samantha and I are doing well.  I am so beyond thankful for organizations like this one and I would like to help support OSOTs efforts in any way I can. Attached are pictures of the cutest bibs we received in our baby package and a picture of our military baby. Please extend our thanks to the donators and volunteers.

Samuel & Callie
I am not sure when your package was sent-it was already here when our unit arrived in June, but I wanted to take a moment to let you know that it was appreciated.

This unit is currently stationed in Kandahar, and although many of the cards inside were for Christmas, they have made their way to the walls of our work spaces as a reminder of all the good things waiting for us at home.   My personal favorite is a hand drawn snowman card from Evan, age 8.   I see it each day as I start work and it makes me smile.

Thank you for the time you spend to help make each day here a little brighter.   Many times, at the end of a long day, YOU  are OUR heroes.

Thank you,
CW4 Lourie

First I would like to thank you for the great box I received today.   Along with my shipmates, we are very grateful for your kind thoughts and prayers.

The letters were touching and I can't wait to be on the home front again.  The box came in excellent condition with everything carefully packaged.

I enclosed a name for my friend who still has yet to receive a package of their own.   Thanks for all you do with your support.  It means the world to us.
