The troops are grateful to receive mail.  The second letter points out how grateful they are for the many people that contribute to their package.   No one person could do all of this, it truly does take many hands to send a box that weighs 25 pounds.  It takes the people collecting, delivering, sorting, taping, bagging, transporting, packing, taping, and posting the packages to get that box into the hands of our troops.   Thank you for helping the organization show our troops that America has NOT forgotten them.

Thank you so much for sending us a package.   It arrived in great condition and had a great variety for everyone.   We are a squad of 27 and share everything so everyone got a little something they could use.  We spend a lot of time out so the snack foods are always great to grab and go.  Our expected return date is October 7th.

Thank you again for the support and for everything your organization does to support and help us and others in uniform overseas.

Thank you again,

I just wanted to send a note to say THANK YOU so very much for the extremely generous and unexpected care package that came to me today!   Mail is such a morale booster and when you see your name on the mail roster, it really does brighten your day.

I was overwhelmed by the amount and number of treats in your package.   I hope you realize just how much it means to me and my fellow Soldiers to be thought of not only by our friends and family but by complete strangers.

Again, thank you to your organization and to all of the people who contributed their time and generosity!
