WEEKLY ARTICLE:

 Breast Health Awareness Month

Before the month of October ends, we wanted to take the opportunity to wish all of our Wholly Macro supporters, and all of our sisters (and brothers) in breast (and any) cancer survival, solidarity, triumph, and yes, loss too, including ourselves, a Happy Breast Health Awareness Month.

We get so much feedback from all of you in relation to everything that we do here at Wholly Macro. Be it the food we prepare, the topics we write about, the classes we teach, the consultation advice we give, and so on.

And we really love it.

You are all just so wonderfully unique.

So we wanted to share the feedback we recently received from a unique client of ours.

We hope she doesn't mind our sharing it.

It is something she pointed out to us in relation to something we said to her, that has shifted our perspective entirely, so much so that all month long, every time we hear the "old" phrase, we replace it in our mind with this new one, and it has happened so often, and the mental change we experience is so profound each time we hear it, that we just had to write about it and share.

It is the title of this newsletter in fact.

The entire month of October, each year, is supposed to be devoted to breast health.

Yet instead of focusing on breast health awareness, we spend the entire month talking about, advertising about, thinking about, hearing about, and affirming breast cancer.

The "old" phrase is: Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Our client suggested that all of us, everyone, change that affirmation to a new one: Breast Health Awareness Month.

Try it: Breast Health Awareness Month

It really feels much more positive this way, don't you think?

If you like the energy created by focusing on Breast Health rather than Breast Cancer, please pass this message on!

And don't forget to check out the October 31, 2012 Wholly Macro Delivery Menu below.

It just so happens to fall right smack dab on Halloween this year, so it is a tribute to fall, to health, and to HALLOWEEN!!!

Please be sure to notice the deliciously thick, Halloween orange, Crme Of Pumpkin Soup.

And just in case you are pining away for some trick or treat treats, we have a rich and gooey Carob Cake With Peanut Butter Icing for you as well. It should healthily satisfy any sweet tooth!!

But don't stop there, please take a look at the entire menu, as each and every dish is sure to please.

Happy Halloween!!

And Happy Breast Health Awareness Month to us all.

In The Best Of Health To You As Always.

Here's some feedback from a consultation client.....

" three years ago I discovered that I had breast cancer.  I had heard of Macrobiotics years ago. I didn't understand the concept but immediately I knew that that would be the route that I would pursue. But where to go and who to see was the question. Thank God for reading the macrobiotic newsletter. For in the newsletter there was  an article about Gayle Stolove. I just felt her strength and passion burn through the page that I was reading. I immediately made an appointment to see her and although I was still so frightened,  I felt so comfortable talking with Gayle. Gayle  guided me through the whole process. I thought that the macrobiotic way of life would be boring and just eating rice. Well, I love the foods that I eat and I just feel good about it all.  You see, after the surgery, you are sort of left on your own.You have to make your own decisions, etc. Everyone gives you different advice as what to eat, what to do, etc. Doctors don't understand what the patient is going through nor do they understand what kind of diet they should follow. I adopted Gayle as my guardian angel.  You can't find that with any nutritionist or doctor. I love receiving her weekly e-mailed newsletters. They are so full of wonderful knowledge and beautiful healthy recipes. Gayle is a remarkable human being. She truly cares for her clients and gives them her all, one hundred percent of the time. Gayle has been there and therefore she is so compassionate and dedicates her life to helping people like me....."     a cancer survivor
