Dear League members and friends
As you know, the movie "Suffragette" is about to be released here in Los Angeles at the Landmark Theater. This is such an important part of our history (across the Atlantic, but still, pertinent to the American suffrage movement) -- I thought it would be appropriate for us to gather at the 2p.m. Sunday showing and watch it together. I'll be at the entrance to the screen for Suffragette wearing a prominent League pin -- Hope to see you there! We can gather after the show for a snack or libation and discuss what we've seen.
