We know, it's two days until May Day. However. after our last April shower, it is never too early for a pretty May Basket.

And May is a big month for election related news.

May 3 is the candidate forum for the Third Supervisorial District.  This will be at 10:00a.m., the Edye Second Stage on the Broad Theater Campus at llth and Santa Monica. 

Confirmed candidates are John Duran, Sheila Kuehl, Eric Preven, Bobby Shriver, and Pamela Conely Ulich.

May 5 is the first day you can vote if you have requested a vote by mail ballot.  Yes, you can start voting next week.

May 19 is the last day to register to vote in the June 3 election.  Registration is not just for new voters but it you have moved, changed your name, or want to change party registration.  All you need is only a click away.  

May 27 is the last day to request a vote by mail ballot, but don't wait.  This is only for last minute emergencies.  Information on obtaining this is on your sample ballot.
