Engineers Without Borders Renamed to Student Engineers in Action
Organization invites students to participate in rebranded organization

Since the founding of Engineers Without Borders on the University of Alabama campus in 2005, the group has engaged in their local community and traveled the world with the belief that they can positively impact the lives of others. Its members continually strive to grow the organization and build on the success of previous years. Throughout efforts to improve the organization, the campus chapter has grown distant from the national organization of Engineers Without Borders. For this reason, they have decided to reorganize as Student Engineers in Action. While their name might change, the groups purpose and actions will stay consistent with their original principles.

As Student Engineers in Action moves forward, they invite all students to participate in the organization's many meetings, projects, and other events throughout the year. For more information, or to ask a question, contact the organization's president, Matt Weider at mcweider@crimson.ua.edu.
