Parent's Prayer:

Dear Lord,

On those days when circumstances and disappointments are great, I am thankful that you are close by to bring comfort and peace. You have promised to give beauty for ashes, gladness for mourning, a robe of praise for a spirit of despair (Isaiah 61:3). Father, please bind up our hearts where they have been broken. I also ask that you would minister to _________ deep in his/her heart where only you can touch. Lord, I pray that your spirit of comfort and peace would also rest upon him/her in a new way. Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness to minister to us in the deepest, most vulnerable places of our hearts. I pray that we would enter into a season of great encouragement for our lives today and for the future.
